Unity in Diversity

Our commitment is to create a place for peace and collaboration where one can learn and cultivate the ancient knowledge of the science of devotion and of love for God according to the sublime principles of bhakti yoga. It's an authentic and lasting alternative that brings one closer to knowing the true self; giving the harmony, balance, satisfaction and joy that thus contributes to the expansion of peace in the world.

Vegetarian Center

In the traditional Tuscan garden of Villa Vrindavana there is the vegetarian center Govinda, placed in a historical building with ancient arches and exposed brick walls. In warm weather, visitors can also dine in the outdoor space, surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees and with a breathtaking panoramic view. Govinda, with its friendly and peaceful atmosphere, is an ideal place for family events and celebrations like birthday parties or vedic weddings, and also offers catering.

Museum of Sacred Art

The main building of Villa Vrindavana houses the Museum of Sacred Art. It holds a collection of sculptures and paintings, including a series of impressive paintings by Giampaolo Tomassetti, dedicated to the Mahabharata, the oldest and most extensive epic of human history. The large historical space, about 600 square meters on two floors, accommodates different cultural events.

CowSanctuary

Cow Sanctuary

We believe that protecting cows is a prime component of protecting the earth. According to the ancient Vedic texts, the cow represents Mother Earth, thus when a cow or bull is mistreated Mother Earth withdraws her bounty. In ISKCON farms no cow, bull or calf is slaughtered. Together with violent-free milk production (ahimsa), they produce dung and urine which is valuable as fertilizer, for cleaning products and biogas fuel.

Joy of Devotion

Villa Vrindavana is a project of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). The members of the community live according to the teachings of ISKCON‘s founder-acharya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896-1977) and those of the Bhagavad-gita, one of the most read classics of ancient Vedic literature. The essence of the philosophy is bhakti-yoga, the science of self-realisation, which culminates in joy and love. It promotes simplicity, purity, harmony and balance as well as sobriety, respect for life, mindfulness and devotion to God.
