Per il sedicesimo anno consecutivo, Villa Vrindavana riapre le porte a uno degli eventi più attesi dell’anno, Śravanam Kirtanam: il più grande festival sul Maha Mantra in Italia.

COSA DEVI SAPERE PRIMA DI VENIRE?

Villa Vrindavana è il tempio Hare Krishna più grande d’Italia, si trova in Toscana, fra le colline del Chianti a pochi passi da Firenze, in Via Scopeti 108 a San Casciano in Val di Pesa, 50026 FI.
✈️ Come raggiungerci?
In aereo: Gli aeroporti più vicini sono l’Aeroporto di Firenze-Peretola “Amerigo Vespucci” (FLR) e l’Aeroporto di Pisa “Galileo Galilei” (PSA). Se atterri a Pisa puoi prendere un autobus o un treno fino a Firenze. Se atterri a Firenze, prendi la linea T2 del tram fino a Santa Maria Novella e da lì segui le istruzioni che trovi qui sotto 👇
In treno: puoi acquistare il tuo biglietto su www.trenitalia.com o www.italotreno.com con destinazione Firenze Santa Maria Novella. Ti consigliamo di prenotare in anticipo per evitare il sovrapprezzo del last minute.
In bus: puoi viaggiare con Flixbus o altre compagnie di linea fino alla fermata di Firenze Montelungo (centro città) o di Villa Costanza (da lì è necessario prendere il tram linea T2 fino a Santa Maria Novella).
Da Santa Maria Novella / Firenze Centro: prendere un bus di Autolinee Toscane (linea 368 o 370) e scendere alla fermata di Sant’Andrea in Percussina che si trova proprio di fronte all’ingresso della Villa (attenzione: nei weekend le corse di questi autobus sono limitate). In alternativa, dalla stazione puoi prendere il bus linea 37 diretto a Tavarnuzze e scendere al capolinea. Da lì è necessario contattare qualcuno (un amico o un conoscente) per l’ultimo tratto di strada in auto fino a Villa Vrindavana (circa 6 minuti in auto). Se preferisci una soluzione più comoda, dalla stazione puoi prendere un Taxi fino a Villa Vrindavana (se viaggi in compagnia puoi dividere la spesa).
🕓 Calendario del festival
Il festival inizia venerdì pomeriggio e prosegue per tutto il weekend fino a domenica sera, con 12+ ore di Kirtan non stop. Sentiti libera/o di arrivare prima per sistemare le tue cose e goderti la piacevole cornice naturale che circonda Villa Vrindavana. Potresti imbatterti in qualche Kirtan estatico nella sala del Tempio o nel giardino già dal giorno prima!

📝 STEP 1: PRASADAM A VILLA VRINDAVANA
Compila il form che trovi al link seguente per prenotare i tuoi pasti.
⚠️ Attenzione: la compilazione del form è obbligatoria per chiunque intenda mangiare a Villa Vrindavana durante il festival. Queste informazioni sono essenziali per organizzare la cucina e il servizio di distribuzione Prasadam. Grazie per la tua collaborazione.
🍽️ Il Centro Vegetariano Govinda sarà aperto tutti i giorni con snack e bibite fresche. Per mangiare al Govinda non occorre segnalarlo nel form, ma puoi prenotare direttamente in loco o contattando il servizio dedicato al numero +39 328 043 1959 (chiamate e whatsapp).
🛏️ STEP 2: SOGGIORNO A VILLA VRINDAVANA
Se desideri pernottare a Villa Vrindavana durante i giorni del festival, oltre al modulo per i pasti, è necessario prenotare in anticipo inviando una mail a kirtan.italy@gmail.com. Ti saranno fornite tutte le informazioni di cui hai bisogno, inclusi i costi, le modalità di prenotazione/pagamento e le varie soluzioni di alloggio.
Potrai scegliere se pernottare nel nostro Ashram, oppure riservare un posto per la tua tenda o il tuo camper.
⚠️ Attenzione: Non sono previste camere singole a Villa Vrindavana ma solo stanze condivise e separate per donne e uomini. Se desideri un’altra soluzione di alloggio, saremo felici di fornirti tutte le informazioni per pernottare in strutture vicine con cui collaboriamo.
⚠️ Ti consigliamo di prenotare quanto prima… il numero di posti disponibili, sia in Ashram che in tenda/camper, è limitato e ogni anno vanno a ruba! 😬
🪘 STEP 3: KIRTAN NEL TEMPIO
L’accesso al Kirtan nella sala del tempio è libero.
L’orario indicativo (non ancora definitivo) è il seguente:
venerdì 10 luglio: dalle ore 16.00/17.00 alle ore 22.00.
sabato 11 e domenica 12 luglio: dalle ore 10.00 alle ore 22.00.

For the sixteenth consecutive year, Villa Vrindavana reopens its doors for one of the most anticipated events of the year, Śravanam Kirtanam: the greatest Maha Mantra festival in Italy.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE COMING
🏡 Where are we?
Villa Vrindavana is the largest Hare Krishna temple in Italy. It is located in Tuscany, in the Chianti hills just outside Florence, at Via Scopeti 108 in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, 50026 FI.
✈️ How to reach us?
By plane: The closest airports are Florence-Peretola “Amerigo Vespucci” Airport (FLR) and Pisa “Galileo Galilei” Airport (PSA). If you’re flying into Pisa, you can take a bus or train to Florence. If you’re flying into Florence, take the T2 tram line to Santa Maria Novella and from there follow the instructions below.
By train: You can purchase your ticket at www.trenitalia.com or www.italotreno.com to Florence Santa Maria Novella. We recommend to book in advance to avoid last-minute surcharges.
By bus: You can travel with Flixbus or other bus companies to Firenze Montelungo stop (city center) or Villa Costanza stop (from there, take the T2 tram to Santa Maria Novella).
From Santa Maria Novella / Florence City Center: Take an Autolinee Toscane bus (line 368 or 370) and get off at Sant’Andrea in Percussina stop, that is located right in front of the Temple entrance (note: these buses run limited on weekends). Alternatively, from the rail station you can take a line 37 bus to Tavarnuzze and get off at the terminal. From there, you’ll need to contact someone (a friend or acquaintance) for the final drive to Villa Vrindavana (about 6 minutes by car). If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from the rail station to Villa Vrindavana (if traveling with someone else, you can split the cost).
🕓 Festival schedule
Festival begins friday afternoon and continues throughout the weekend until Sunday evening, with 12+ hours of non-stop Kirtan. Feel free to arrive early to settle your belongings and enjoy the beautiful natural setting surrounding Villa Vrindavana. You might find some ecstatic Kirtan in the Temple Hall or in the garden starting from the day before!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: A 3-Step Quick Guide
📝 STEP 1: PRASADAM AT VILLA VRINDAVANA
Fill out the form at the following link to reserve your meals.
⚠️ Please note: the form filling is mandatory for anyone who’s going to eat at Villa Vrindavana during the festival. This information is essential for organizing the kitchen and Prasadam distribution service. Thanks for your cooperation.
🍽️ The Govinda Vegetarian Center will be open daily with snacks and refreshments. If you prefer to eat there, you can book directly on-site or by contacting the dedicated service at +39 328 043 1959 (calls and whatsapp).
🛏️ STEP 2: STAY AT VILLA VRINDAVANA
If you wish to stay at Villa Vrindavana during the festival, in addition to the meal form, you must book in advance by emailing kirtan.italy@gmail.com. You will be provided with all the information you need, including costs, booking/payment methods, and various accommodation options.
You can choose to stay at our Ashram or reserve a spot for your tent or camper.
⚠️ Please note: there are no single rooms at Villa Vrindavana; only shared and separate rooms for women and men. If you’d like an alternative type of accommodation, we’d be happy to provide you with information on nearby accommodations we work with.
⚠️ We recommend to book as soon as possible… the number of available spaces, both in the Ashram and in tents/campers, are limited and fill up quickly every year! 😬
🪘 STEP 3: KIRTAN IN THE TEMPLE
Access to the Kirtan in the temple hall is free.
The tentative schedule (not yet final) is as follows:
Friday, July 10th: 4:00/5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Saturday, July 11th and Sunday, July 12th: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
